Creig Kelley, Manager – ckelley@AirSharesElite.com
Comm ASEL/AMEL, AGI
Creig is ostensibly a synthetic organic chemist who obtained his pilot's license in 1983 to further a health club business he operated in northern Michigan after graduating from college. Deciding many years later to actually make his college major a career, he moved into roles in the chemical industry which included project leadership and quality assurance operations for products heavily regulated by both FDA and EPA. With an eye always on aviation, Creig became president of a owner-based flying organization that grew from one to three aircraft under his leadership, became an Advanced Ground Instructor, a proficient tail-wheel pilot with aerobatics experience, an avid skydiver, and a multi-engine rated commercial pilot with some turbine Otter time hauling up the skydivers with whom he previously jumped. He's not sure whether he'd rather be landing the DeHavilland or getting out at 14,500 - both are a lot of fun. Crieg also flies missions for the East Michigan Wings of Mercy.
Creig's background as a business operator making use of aviation, customer support and quality activities, and current flying interests make him a perfect match for assisting those desiring a new way of experiencing business travel and pleasure flying via AirShares Ownership of the best light aircraft available today - the AirShares Elite experience.
Don Weaver, Manager and Chief Instructor – dweaver@AirSharesElite.com
Comm ASEL/AMEL/ASES, CFI, CFII, MEI, CSIP
Don started flying early, soloing on his 16th birthday in 1975. The private and instrument ratings followed before heading off to college. While working as a chemical engineer in the chemical industry, Don gained experience in production and research operations, new business information management, project management and quality operations and is now a certified Six-Sigma Black Belt - for those who might have knowledge of recent industry buzzwords in the area of project management and applied statistics. However, it was his love of flying and a knack for teaching that led Don through a thirty year process of building experience, proficiency and ratings in preparation for what is now a leading role in training. Don is a good communicator, and believes in making the complex seem simple and intuitive via appropriate teaching techniques employed with unending enthusiasm.
Don is the chief instructor for a multiple aircraft owner-based pilot organization, flies missions for East Michigan Wings of Mercy and is also an avid aerobatics and tailwheel instructor.
