Mike Baehr , Regional Director – mbaehr@AirSharesElite.com
Mike Baehr has had an interest in aviation since he was young. He acquired his private pilot’s license at age nineteen. In 1983 he graduated from medical school at Ohio State University. After three years of residency at Mt Carmel Medical Center in family medicine, Dr. Baehr opened a solo family medical practice in a suburb of Columbus, Ohio. Mike managed and expanded the office into a seven provider multi –million dollar practice. He is currently the senior managing partner of Family Physician of Gahanna and the practice continues to grow and thrive under his management.
Mike also is an FAA Certified Senior Medical Examiner. He serves as the company physician of the largest fractional ownership company in business jet aircraft.
In 2002 Mike purchased his first Cirrus SR22 and has accumulated over 500 hours flying time. He received his Instrument Rating prior to purchasing the Cirrus SR22 and spends at least 15% of his flight time in further training and proficiency. Mike is very familiar with what is required to manage the needs and upkeep of Cirrus aircraft.
Mike became interested in extending the concept of AirShares ownership to general aviation four years ago; in order to succeed, he has put together an unprecedented team to ensure AirShares Elite Ohio’s success. He plans on making AirShares Elite Ohio his second successful business.
Charles Macarthy , Northern Ohio Sales Manager – cmacarthy@AirSharesElite.com
Charles Macarthy has been an aviation enthusiast since he was five years old. It was only fate that one day Charles would be able to combine his very successful business and sales background with his childhood dream of becoming a pilot and working directly in the aviation industry.
In 1991, Charles was a regional sales manager for a very prestigious automobile company where he utilized his strong financial and client relationship skills. In 1996, Charles contracted with Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital where he worked as an emergency medical technician on life flight helicopters. While the helicopters were not airplanes, Charles was getting closer to his dream. In 2003, Charles graduated from Myers University in Cleveland, Ohio with a graduate degree in financial planning.
In 2004, Charles became a Partner in a National Financial Planning firm. Along with his two other Partners, this firm was one of the most successful firms in the Cleveland area. In 2006, Charles and one of his existing Partners branched off to form their own comprehensive financial and risk management firm.
By owning his own firm, Charles finally has the time and flexibility to pursue his pilot’s license and dream of flying his own airplanes.
Charles is thrilled to have formed a relationship with AirSharesElite and looks forward to working together with other pilots to make their dream of owning an elite aircraft a reality.
Kevin Keith , Flight Instructor – kkeith@AirSharesElite.com
Kevin Keith, has been an aviation enthusiast for as long as he can remember. Kevin started out in aviation in the Air Force as a crew chief on C-130 cargo aircraft in the 1970’s and participated in the airlift during the Iranian crisis. Finally, after too many years away from aviation and his true calling, he earned his pilot certificate in 1991, soon to be followed by his instrument rating. He found he was always taking friends up and letting them fly so he thought, why not get his commercial CFI and CFII tickets and introduce others to joy of being a pilot! By chance, two of his students purchased SR22’s and Kevin went to Duluth to become a Cirrus certified instructor at their request and absolutely fell in love with the airplane. He has since trained dozens of pilots in Cirrus aircraft. Including soloing a student pilot in an SR22, instrument ratings, and countless transition training sessions. He now has nearly 2,000 hours instructing with approximately 300 hours in SR22’s and increasing quickly.
Kevin feels instructing for ASE is a dream come true. He cherishes the new friendships he makes with people that are true professionals. He loves the way the aircraft are maintained and the service that the FBOs provide that ASE chooses is second to none. Kevin is proud to provide training in a state of the art airplane and with an organization that is surrounded by first class people. His motto is safety and professionalism first, followed closely by fun
