David Lee, CEO & Co-Founder - dlee@airshareselite.com

Aviation and building businesses have always been among David’s passions. Before founding AirShares, David held several positions with the Plastech Corporation in Atlanta. He began his career there in Corporate Sales, moved into Production Management, and eventually was named Chief Operating Officer. As COO, David expanded production to include a highly profitable line of proprietary aerospace and medical products.

David received his Private Pilot rating at age 16 and currently holds Commercial, Instrument and Helicopter ratings. David has nearly 3,500 hours of flight experience in a variety of helicopters, high-performance, vintage and warbird aircraft. In 1992, David placed fifth out of thirty-four teams participating in the first "Around the World" air race and has crossed the Atlantic three times in light aircraft. He was born and raised in Atlanta and holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Vermont. In college, David founded a ski apparel business, "Lupine Activewear," which he ran for 2 years before selling upon graduation.

Annabelle Vultee, COO - avultee@airshareselite.com

With over five years of corporate experience and two years of entrepreneurial experience, Annabelle brings a unique perspective to the AirShares team. After graduating from Colgate University in 1998, she joined The Coca-Cola Company in Southern California and excelled in the three positions she held during her five years with the company. A drive to hold an upper-level management position led her to pursue a graduate degree, and in 2005 Annabelle received her MBA from Harvard Business School. With her MBA in hand, she moved to South Florida and developed a new foodservice concept, followed by a small consulting business. By way of several personal connections to general aviation since her childhood, she joined AirShares’ South Florida office in early 2007, before accepting a full-time position as Chief Operating Officer.

Richard Bertoli, Chief Pilot - rbertoli@AirSharesElite.com

An active member of the Cirrus Standardized Instructor Program (CSIP) and an expert on GPS for IFR operations, Rich continues to ride the cutting edge of aviation, from advancements in flight training technology to human factors study and adult learning concepts. He was instrumental in the acceptance of AirShares Elite's SR22 Transition Training Program by the FAA Industry Training Standards (FITS) partnership and has also made major contributions to Cirrus Pilot Proficiency Program (CPPP) presentation material. He has appeared on CNN and numerous local networks as an aviation consultant and representative of the Cirrus flight training community.

Rich believes that flight safety requires a commitment to education from not only the flight instructing community, but also the weekend private pilot. When a critical decision needs to be made, knowledge is more than just power. Hurtling through the clouds at over 200 mph, several thousand feet above the ground, it could be the difference between a successful mission and a very bad day.

Kaye Gentle, Director of Owner Services and Operations - kgentle@airshareselite.com

Kaye Gentle was born and raised of Jamaican decent in New York City. She graduated from the University of Hartford in 2002 with a Bachelors degree in Mass Communication. Kaye also studied in London at the American Intercontinental University with a concentration in digital media. Kaye has worked in the Television, Radio, Film and Publishing industries for over 8 years at companies such as SonyBMG, Ricki Lake, Creative Bubble, C&C Films, Merrill Lynch Media, WWUH 93.1 FM and Reed Elsevier.

Kaye is our Director of Owner Services and Operations. Among her many responsibilities, Kaye is responsible for scheduling and dispatching owner flights for all of our locations. Kaye loves interacting with our Owners and taking care of their individual needs.
